My name is Saumil Mehta. I’m product manager for Kosmix RightHealth (http://www.righthealth.com) a top 3 destination site for health information. I am also a contributing author at VentureBeat (http://www.venturebeat.com) and generally cover search and mobile stories. I am also on the advisory council for VentureBeat’s upcoming, bound-to-be-kickass conference MobileBeat 2008. If you are working on a mobile company, get a hold of me!

I’ve been fortunate enough to graduate with a Masters in CompSci from Stanford University (squeaking through, but that’s not relevant here), research at Stanford Medical Informatics, a short stint at MSN Hotmail working on Windows Live Mail, a short stint at Ning when they were still in stealth mode, 2ish years at Voltage Security as an engineer and upcoming 2ish years at my current employer, Kosmix.

Kosmix has been nice enough to let me run amok not only in the product areas of RightHealth but also in the key areas of Traffic and Monetization, where I help out as best as possible.
